Distribution Partnership · ABC Supply × ThermaSlab

A premium radiant-floor SKU for the ABC shelf

Shelf-placement + rep-enablement partnership for the high-margin hydronic category that sits between ABC's existing radiant and HVAC SKU sets.

The category fit. ThermaSlab is a factory-built radiant floor panel — structural core, factory-routed PEX, gel-cushion, and finish floor integrated into one drop-in unit that replaces subfloor, heating system, underlayment, and finish in a single step. It is hydronic-eligible (boiler or heat-pump water heater supply), it loads to 2,000 psf, and it ships in two panel sizes (Standard 24"×48" and Large Format 48"×96") times eight finish SKUs — 16 line items total, a tight shelf grid that maps cleanly onto ABC's premium flooring and HVAC aisles. Why ABC. ThermaSlab's premium custom-builder wedge (projects >2,500 sq ft, hydronic-eligible) is the same audience ABC already serves with high-end boiler, radiant, and HVAC SKUs. A shelf-placement program puts the category on the truck with the rest of the radiant/HVAC basket — and gives builders a one-stop spec.

Step 1 — SubstrateTS: monolith drop into prepared joist bay · Traditional: subfloor framing + sheathing + inspection
Step 2 — Hydronic routingTS: panel manifold stubs pre-routed at the factory · Traditional: PEX layout + staple-up + pressure test
Step 3 — Connect + commissionTS: one manifold tie-in + system fill + boiler/hpwh handshake · Traditional: manifold mount + line set + cure/pour (gypsum or Gypcrete) + cure window
Step 4 — UnderlaymentTS: integrated cushion + finish face ship in panel · Traditional: separate underlayment roll + fastening
Step 5 — Finish floorTS: factory finish is the wear layer · Traditional: tile / epoxy / hardwood install + grout + cure

Materials + labor, anchored to the published spec-sheet pricing and pilot labor deltas above.

Materials (ThermaSlab panels + manifold + PEX stub)$10,400 · spec-sheet wholesale mid-band $10.40 / sq ft × 1,000
Materials (traditional: subfloor + radiant + underlayment + finish)$14,800 · directional estimate across the four conventional material layers
Labor (panel install + connect, TS)$4,800 · ∼8 hrs × 3 crew × $200/hr loaded
Labor (traditional multi-trade sequence)$7,200–$9,000 · subfloor + PEX + manifold commissioning + finish across 4 trades
Net savings on 1,000 sq ft$2,800–$4,200

Per-account distributor margin is held to "TBD" by design — we want ABC's category team to set the spread, not ThermaSlab. The wholesale band, SKU count, and pilot labor assumptions above are all sourced from the published spec sheet so the diligence conversation starts from real numbers, not pitches.
